Old St Pancras talk

Caitlin gave an illustrated talk on the history of Holloway Prison and the role of the chaplain, as part of the Parish of Old St Pancras’ Spring History Lecture Series on April 30th. The talk was introduced by Fr James.

The churchyard was the original burial place of Mary Wollstonecraft, author of ‘The Vindication of the Rights of Woman’, published in 1792. Her tombstone remains in the churchyard, and visitors had been leaving flowers to mark her birthday of April 27th.
