Holloway Prison, the most infamous jail for women in Europe, closed in 2016. Campaigners have been working tirelessly ever since to make sure the site is developed for the community, and that includes a proper Women’s Building.
BUT there is not enough space allocated to the building at the moment – there needs to be more space for women in the Women’s Building!

Community Plan for Holloway has now launched a Make Space for Women Competition. Submit a story, poem or art work, explaining why women need this space – and win £100 cash for your school, organisation, or yourself.
